Underwood Fire Department Pancake Breakfast PDF Print E-mail

The Volunteers of the Underwood Fire Department wish to thank everyone who came to our first annual pancake breakfast. It was a great success, thanks to the over 300 people who enjoyed huckleberry pancakes, sausage and eggs prepared by chefs Tim Tolbert, John Holland, Todd Mera and his wife Rachael Horn and daughter Anais Mera, and Nathan Ziegler. The front line chefs were supported by virtually the entire crew plus members of the community who worked in the kitchen, conducted tours of the station and the trucks, and generally  helped out where needed. Folks from all over the Gorge and the Portland Metro area came out to join us for breakfast and helped raise almost $2500 in sales and donations. Special recognition goes to Jolene and Tim Tolbert who served as lead organizers on this project. Thank you Jolene and Tim!
